Light Vehicle Mechanic wanting to upskill as Diesel Mechanic A QualifiedAutomotive (LIGHT VEHICLE) Mechanicwandering to upskill in their trade to Heavy Commercial Diesel Mechanic is invitedtojoin us in Cairns. **ONLY AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS AND PERMANENT RESIDENTS NEED APPLY The role includes but is not limited to the following; Fault finding, diagnosing and repairing problems as necessary and provide routine maintenance to client's vehicles. Completion of RTO modules to requalify as a Diesel Mechanic. You will recieve credit for your existing trade and upskill can be between 18 months to 2 years to complete. Carrying out Scheduled Fleet Maintenance and repairs for a range of large clients in the Cairns Region. Work in with our team of mechanics and apprentices functioning within a capacity within the workshop. Full time hours with call out roster (on call allowance applies) andovertime hours when required are expected as part of this role. however weekend work is rarely required. Your experience... Trade qualification as Automotive Mechanic (3+ years) Willingness to complete required study Some experience in the retail/private sector preferred but not essential. Displayed strong emphasis on time management. Ability to work unsupervised or as part of our team, demonstrating excellent communication skills Good Wage negotiated on skills and previous experience but is based on an hourly rate, overtime rates, tech allowances & field work rates apply.
