About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for an Asset Management Officer to join our Asset Strategy Team. As our new Asset Management Officer your key responsibilities will include asset data collection, asset data management, responding to asset-related enquiries, and promoting the principals of asset management across Council. You will report directly to the Coordinator Asset Strategy and work collaboratively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. This is a full-time permanent role based at our Civic Centre in Wantirna South. We support flexible working arrangements while ensuring operational needs of the role are met. This is a Band 4 classified role. Remuneration will be $73,349 to $78,124 (depending on experience) (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee. What You Will Bring To This Role Experience with Asset Management Systems and Geographic Information Systems, preferably with Confirm, QGIS, Intramaps, and Microsoft Office. Experience with asset registers, data management processes and asset handover procedures. Knowledge of the principles of asset management and the asset lifecycle. An understanding of Council's infrastructure assets, asset condition assessments, asset valuations and asset renewal. Written and verbal communication skills, sufficient to assist in the preparation of reports and to respond to customers’ asset-related enquiries.
