Central Regional TAFE – Delivers vocational and technical training across the Mid West, Gascoyne, Goldfields and Wheatbelt regions. Position: Lecturer – Permanent, Full‑time (immediate start). Location: Kalgoorlie or Northam, face‑to‑face when required but preference for online delivery. About the role A lecturer’s primary role is to teach, facilitate learning and conduct assessment in traditional, new and innovative ways to a diverse range of clients. Lecturers will also provide consultancy, information and promotional services to industry, prospective students and community clients. The TAFE environment offers industry‑based Training Packages and a quality system for delivery and assessment. Responsibilities Teach and assess students in vocational subjects. Facilitate learning and develop innovative teaching methods. Provide consultancy and promotional services to industry and community. Collaborate with training package developers and quality assurance. Qualifications & Experience Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety (or equivalent). Minimum 5 years of vocational or lecturing experience relevant to the role. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122, TAE40116 or TAE40110) or an acceptable secondary teaching qualification with assessor skill set. Will enrol in an approved training and assessment credential if not already holding one, with satisfactory progress within two years.
