Lifestyle Officer

you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of SVCS Auburn.

Our facility offers residents a supportive and welcoming environment, with Residential Living aged care, Independent Living and Community Living services all available at the same location.This is a permanent part-time opportunityWhat’s on your CV is important, but what’s in your heart matters more.Because at St Vincent’s,

kindness works for us.Things that work for us:Certificate III or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or diversional therapy (or similar)Experience in an aged care facility including working with dementia (or Huntington’s) clients highly regarded.Experience developing Leisure programs and ability to update resident documentation & assessments as requiredAbility to work on a permanent part time basis with flexibility to work across the weekStrong attention to detail and excellent communication skillsAbility to follow directives as per care planUnderstanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilitiesNational Police CertificateNDIS Worker Screening Check will be a requirement of this role.
