MAYDAY are excited to be working with one of Australia’s fastest-growing events companies, is looking for an APAC Sponsorship Sales Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to take the reins of a significant portfolio of key accounts valued at AUD 2M+ and drive revenue growth while securing new business opportunities. You’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing long-term client relationships and shaping tailored sponsorship proposals for high-profile events.

- $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 + super + commission (OTE 200K)
- Can offer sponsorship for the right person
- Flexible with WFH 1 day per week after the first 3 months
- Grow and build a business account with excellent earning potential
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development : Identify new sponsorship opportunities, pitch tailored packages, and secure new deals to consistently exceed revenue targets
- Client Relationship Management : Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their objectives are met through strategic partnership offerings
- Account Management : Manage a high volume of accounts (40+), ensuring the successful delivery of sponsorship entitlements and resolving any client queries promptly
- Proposal Development : Craft bespoke sponsorship proposals and presentations to meet the unique goals of each client.
- Market Research : Stay on top of industry trends and identify opportunities to keep sponsorship packages competitive and relevant
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and client satisfaction
- Reporting & Forecasting : Utilize Salesforce to track sales activities, forecast revenue growth, and document client interactions
About you:
- Proven Experience : Solid background in commercial event sales, with a proven ability to exceed AUD 2M+ annual revenue targets
- High Achiever : Demonstrated success as a top performer in sales, consistently hitting targets and surpassing expectations
- Account Management Expertise : Experience managing and growing a diverse range of high-value accounts (40+)
- APAC Market Knowledge : In-depth understanding of the APAC market and established relationships within the region are a plus
- Travel Flexibility : Willingness to travel to attend events and client meetings as required
