10 hours per week | Flexible hours | Remote or hybrid Albury office Our client is a busy, family-run construction company looking for an experienced payroll person to keep the team of under 20 tradies and site staff paid accurately and on time. The role (approx 10 hours per week): End-to-end weekly payroll processing in Xero (including timesheets, overtime, allowances, site-specific loadings, travel and tool allowances) Superannuation calculations and lodging payments PAYG withholding, payroll tax, and WorkCover reporting Single Touch Payroll (STP) finalisations via Xero Managing staff leave balancesand terminationsandwhen they arise Answering basic payroll queries from the guys on site You’ll need: Proven payroll experience (construction industry experience highly regarded but not essential) Current, hands-on Xero payroll knowledge (they run the standard Xero Payroll module) Strong attention to detail and understanding of Australian awards/EBAs in construction/trades Excellent communication skills – you’ll deal directly with the CEO, site foremen and workers Ability to work autonomously and hit deadlines every week What we offer: Flexible days/hours to suit you (definitely need a Tuesday for pay runs) Mostly remote with occasional office visits essential $40per hour depending on experience Long-term, ongoing role with a great crew If you love payroll, know Xero inside out, and want steady part-time work without the full-time hassle, we’d love to hear from you Please email your resume and a quick note about your Xero payroll experience to Dan Sawyer #J-18808-Ljbffr
