Job Description Canberra ACT Full-Time Australian Citizenship Required About The Role Reporting to the National Operations Manager you’ll be responsible for sourcing, negotiating and managing high-quality property and facilities management goods and services. You’ll champion social procurement outcomes, engage diverse suppliers and contribute to year‑on‑year cost reductions. Whats In It For You Make a national impact by supporting procurement across 34 Federal Agencies and 1000 sites Champion social change by integrating Indigenous and diverse suppliers into government supply chains Grow your career in a high‑profile purpose‑driven role with exposure to senior stakeholders Work with purpose in a team that values sustainability, ethical sourcing and social enterprise Enjoy flexibility with a supportive work environment and opportunities to innovate Be part of a global brand with access to industry‑leading tools, training and career pathways Key Responsibilities Develop and review procurement plans and strategies aligned with WoAG policies Source and manage services, materials and goods tailored to each entity Lead transition activities for procured services Drive cost savings through innovation and process improvements Maintain detailed procurement records and pipelines Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders Engage and manage contractors ensuring performance and compliance Promote Indigenous and diverse supplier engagement Ensure sustainable and ethical procurement practices Represent C&W in bid responses and social procurement forums What We’re Looking For 35 years experience in procurement or supply chain management ideally in building services Proven contractor management and performance monitoring skills Strong financial acumen and cost reduction achievements Experience promoting supplier diversity and social enterprise engagement Proficiency in eTendering platforms (e.g. Tenderlink), MS Office and reporting tools like PowerBI Familiarity with Rapid Global, JDE or Converga is a plus Why Cushman & Wakefield We’re not just a global real‑estate services firm; we’re a community of thinkers, doers and changemakers.
