Job Overview Community Safety Officer - Parking Location: Tamworth, NSW Full‑time position. The role delivers fair, consistent parking enforcement to support safer roads across the region and engages with the community on a day‑to‑day basis, while enjoying the flexibility, stability and supportive workplace that comes with working for Council. Responsibilities Deliver fair, consistent parking enforcement to support safer roads across the region. Engage with the community on a day‑to‑day basis. Provide a hands‑on operational service in responding to the range of parking complaints and policing to ensure the safety of road users. Provide input into strategy development to improve operational efficiency in relation to parking efficiency and enforcement. Provide back‑up response and assist the Ranger team where required. Qualifications Higher School Certificate. Driver Licence. Immunisation against Hepatitis, Tetanus and Q Fever (or willingness to obtain). Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation. Benefits There will be some weekend work as part of a rotating roster. Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements. Shortlisted applicants will be required to undertake a pre‑employment medical screening including alcohol and other drugs testing.
