You could be one of our 3100 committed team members who are up to the challenge. About The Role As the Operational Planning Team Leader, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Operational Group. You will lead a team of up to 7 Network Planning Officers, accountable for the management of Freight and heritage pathing requirements on V/Line’s regional train network. Key accountabilities include: Provide leadership to the team of Network Planning Officers. Effectively manage the workload across the team, ensuring timelines and KPIs are met. Responsible for on-the-job training to meet and maintain team skills flexibility levels. Development and maintain the Master Freight timetable for events and occupations. Management of heritage train path allocations and ensuring that relationships are maintained with heritage operators. Work with Operational leadership on innovative improvements to the planning processes. About You Provide your Leadership experience to the team with focus on planning and scheduling and communications to V/Lines key stakeholders.
