About the Role We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Diploma-Qualified Program Leader to oversee the implementation and delivery of engaging, developmentally appropriate, age-specific programs for children in our care. You will report directly to the Service Manager, Nominated Supervisors, and the service Leadership Team, and work collaboratively with Believe Early Learning educators, families, and the community to deliver excellence in early childhood education while upholding Believe Early Learning’s commitment to safeguarding and protecting children in our care. What You’ll Do Program Leadership: Develop and implement innovative, play-based, Reggio Emilia focused, and developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS). Team Collaboration: Mentor and support educators, fostering a collaborative and professional team environment. Child Protection and Safeguarding: Actively promote and maintain a culture of safeguarding, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children within your care. Show vigilance in identifying and be compliant in reporting any concerns in accordance with child protection laws and the service’s policies. Engagement with Families: Build strong relationships with Believe Early Learning’s families, providing regular communication about their child’s progress and promoting involvement in their child’s program. Compliance and Quality: Ensure programs meet all regulatory requirements, deliver innovation, and strive for continuous improvement in service delivery. Learning Environment: Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and creativity for the children in our care. Professional Development: Stay updated with best practices and participate in ongoing professional learning opportunities with Believe Early Learning management and team. Requirements Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification. Demonstrated experience in leading educational programs in an early childhood setting. Comprehensive understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and child protection legislation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and team members. A deep commitment to safeguarding children and upholding their rights. Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and First Aid, including Asthma and Anaphylaxis training. Recent Police Check – within the last 6 months. Commitment to ongoing professional development.
