Our clients Water team within a global consultancy promotes holistic, sustainable water resource management for governments, investors, developers, manufacturers, utilities, and corporations. We help our clients with network maintenance and development, risk mitigation, regulatory compliance, cost reduction, and future-ready strategies.This role will see you enhance your capabilities and the reputation of our Water Utilities team. We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude, is consultative, able to prioritise their work and results-oriented. The successful candidate will be a team player, and able to work with a range of stakeholders including influencing senior leaders.What You'll DoWork as part of a national multi-disciplinary water utilities team to deliver on project goalsManage the overall scope and day-to-day tasks of multiple projects of varying complexity and sizeManage the production and review of concise high-quality technical documentation that effectively present complex information and results to technical and non-technical clientsContribute and manage projects (as appropriate), including providing technical review and sign off, risk management, commercial and project managementApply relevant State and Federal legislation as it pertains to water, and apply industry standards and guidelinesUndertake liaison with project stakeholders including clients and vendorsProvide technical contribution to proposals and/or pursuitsActively contribute to business development initiatives when requiredParticipate in company development initiativesSupport and mentor staff, including active participation in the Mentoring ProgramActive involvement in shaping the industry and events through committees, industry bodies, delivery papers etc.About YouQualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, MIEAust or equivalent, CPEng, and RPEQRelevant consulting experience in the Water industryTechnical ProficiencyDemonstrated strong technical expertise across a wide spectrum of disciplines (Water Infrastructure/Utilities)Proficiency in assuming roles of project manager or design manager across multiple projectsReport Preparation and CommunicationAbility to prepare, produce technically sound reports with minimal need for corrections, and review technical reports for medium to large-scale projectsSkill in conveying complex technical matters effectively to clientsTechnical LeadershipExpertise in utilizing modeling software, analytics techniques, and conducting detailed design and equipment selectionProficient in providing technical leadership across a broad range of areas within Water and/or Wastewater Treatment disciplinesSafety and Risk ManagementExperience with CHAIR and HAZOP methodologies, and adeptness in safety in design practices and processesCompetence in identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures for medium to large-scale projectsIf you have the skills and experience we're looking for, we'd love to hear from you.
