ICT Infrastructure and Security Specialist Jigsaw Notions Clearance: NV1 or above (mandatory) Jigsaw Notions is seeking an ICT Infrastructure and Security Specialist to support a secure, high‑availability ICT environment across complex enterprise networks. The position centres on monitoring, control, and assurance of essential systems and security platforms. You will work within a small, specialised team responsible for maintaining operational stability, identifying issues early, and providing structured responses to system events. The role suits someone with strong technical discipline, good situational awareness, and the ability to work in controlled environments with strict governance and security requirements. Key Responsibilities Conduct active monitoring and analysis across network, platform, and application layers, using enterprise monitoring, logging, and alerting tools. Identify, triage, and escalate operational events, performance anomalies, and security‑related activity. Maintain operational dashboards, performance metrics, and reporting artefacts to support decision‑making. Undertake root‑cause investigation, fault isolation, and coordination of remediation activities with relevant technical teams. Assist in maintaining configuration integrity and compliance of critical ICT systems. Support patching windows, change activities, planned outages, and operational readiness tasks. Maintain documentation covering system behaviours, escalation pathways, operational procedures, and technical baselines. Work within established security, risk, and configuration management processes. Contribute to continuous improvement of monitoring and control processes, including tuning of thresholds, automation, and workflow optimisation. Required Skills and Experience Hands‑on experience with ICT infrastructure operations across servers, networks, virtualisation, or cloud environments. Strong understanding of enterprise monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, performance monitoring, event management, or logging platforms). Ability to interpret system events, performance data, and security indicators to determine appropriate actions. Experience supporting incident response, fault resolution, or operational assurance functions. Familiarity with secure environments, privileged access controls, and structured change processes. Strong documentation and reporting skills with the ability to maintain clear operational records. Capacity to work autonomously within a governed, security‑focused environment. NV1 or higher security clearance (essential due to the nature of the environment). Knowledge of enterprise authentication, identity management, or access control systems. Understanding of networks, firewalls, and routing concepts. Exposure to automation, scripting, or orchestration tools. Experience working with operational frameworks such as ITIL.
