We’re now hiring a hands‑on Sales Manager to drive performance, scale new areas, and lead a team that closes consistently every week. This is NOT an office‑only or clipboard‑style management role.You will be on the road, in homes, training, recruiting, and setting the standard . What You’ll Do Lead, train and coach a team of high‑performance solar consultants Recruit and onboard new reps ( closers) Conduct some in‑home sits per week to stay sharp and lead from the front Run daily huddles, KPI tracking and accountability systems Provide on‑road coaching, ride‑alongs and field support Open new sales territories and support expansion Drive consistency, culture and structure across the team Work closely with Operations & Installs to maintain fast job turnaround What You’ll Get $90–$100k base salary (depending on experience) OTE $250k+ with performance bonuses Ability to build and shape your own sales team Strong lead‑generation support (D2D team + phone setters) Full installation capability with 2.5‑week average battery turnaround A company that genuinely supports its sales team What We’re Looking For >Experience managing a solar sales team or a high performing solar closer wanting to step up A true hands‑on leader — not just an office manager Proven ability to train, coach and grow closers Strong recruiter with good instincts for talent High standards, strong communication and a drive to scale Someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, growth‑driven environment Who We Are Solar Surge Australia is a rapidly growing solar retailer with its own installation arm, giving us complete control from sale to install.
