We're ready to scale and need a hands‑on Sales & Marketing Manager to build demand, convert it, and close deals on and off the internet. The role Own the full growth engine end‑to‑end – from content and ads to pipeline and signed POs. You'll be our first dedicated hire in this function, so you'll set strategy and roll up sleeves to execute. Australian work rights are required for this position. What you'll do Digital marketing & social (own the funnel) Plan, create, and schedule all social content (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook); build a consistent brand voice. Run paid campaigns (Meta, Google, YouTube, LinkedIn, programmatic), manage budgets, A/B test creatives/landing pages. Build and optimise the website and landing pages for conversion (CRO, SEO, speed, UX). Set up and improve analytics (GA4, GTM, Search Console, Meta/LinkedIn pixels) and create dashboards for CAC/ROAS/LTV. Demand → revenue (convert & close) Build and manage the sales pipeline (CRM ownership), respond to inbound, qualify, demo, propose, negotiate, close. Create outbound sequences and prospect lists for installers, distributors, and SMEs (email, phone, LinkedIn). Organise webinars, field demos, trade shows, and partner enablement sessions; develop sales collateral and case studies. Establish a reseller/installer channel program and nurture key accounts. Strategy & leadership (build the machine) Own the go‑to‑market plan and quarterly targets; forecast and report on funnel performance. Brief and manage freelancers/agencies (creative, media, PR) as needed. Bring customer feedback back to product for roadmap & messaging. You’ll bring 4–8+ years in growth marketing and/or B2B/B2C sales (clean energy, hardware, SaaS, or related tech a big plus). Proven success running paid campaigns and turning leads into signed deals. Strong grasp of GA4, GTM, CRM (HubSpot/Pipedrive/Salesforce), email automation, and landing‑page builders. Confident copy, on‑brand design sense (Figma/Canva), and data‑driven decision making. Comfortable presenting, negotiating, and building partner relationships. Self‑starter attitude — you like owning outcomes, not just tasks. Driver's licence preferred for field demos. Nice‑to‑haves Experience selling through installers/distributors or channel programs. Solar/energy/IoT background, technical curiosity, and comfort with product demos. What success looks like (first 6–12 months) Scalable paid & organic engine delivering consistent MQLs/SQLs at target CAC. Website/landing pages converting with clear uplift (CRO wins documented). Healthy pipeline with accurate forecasts; closed‑won revenue from both digital and field/partner channels. 2–3 flagship case studies and a growing installer/distributor network.
