About The Role We are seeking a permanent part‑time Orderly Attendant to join our diverse, close‑knit Central Sterile Services team at The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. A critical role to RDHM’s operations, if you enjoy being busy, have great people skills and value supporting others, this could be the job for you Your Key Responsibilities Include Transporting clinical instruments from the clinics to the Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD) for sterilisation/processing via trolleys. Assemble and package surgical instrument trays in accordance with hospital standards, as required. Cleaning handheld clinical equipment. Ensuring infection control of trolleys and related equipment. Transport medically stable patients through areas of the hospitals as needed. Qualifications You are highly organised and work efficiently in a structured environment. You thrive under pressure and can remain focused during busy periods. You value a diverse and inclusive workplace and enjoy being part of a collaborative team. You have a friendly, professional manner and a strong focus on customer service. Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
