About the Role As a Tax Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading the firm's tax advisory function, working closely with clients to provide high-level strategic tax advice. You will manage a team of professionals and oversee complex tax matters, including international tax, transfer pricing, transactions, and small business concessions. Key Responsibilities Review and assist with complex tax calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Provide expert advice on transfer pricing policies, ensuring adherence to global and local regulations. Lead tax advisory services for acquisitions, mergers, and restructuring, guiding clients through tax-efficient strategies. Assist clients with small business concessions, maximizing tax benefits and compliance. Oversee transaction tax advisory work, including capital raising, structuring, and due diligence. Navigate and advise on international tax matters, including cross-border transactions and double tax agreements. Work closely with key stakeholders to develop tax-efficient business strategies. Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and development. Stay ahead of regulatory changes, ensuring clients receive proactive and strategic tax advice. About You To thrive in this role, you will bring: Relevant qualifications (CA, CPA, or Masters of Taxation highly regarded). Extensive experience in tax advisory at a senior level, ideally within a respected accounting or consulting firm. A deep understanding of corporate tax, transfer pricing, international tax, and transaction advisory. Strong technical expertise in Australian taxation law and its practical business applications. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation. Strong leadership and people management skills, with a passion for developing high-performing teams. Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying and delivering value-added tax solutions. Why Join?
