POSITION OBJECTIVES Responsible for servicing our supply chain logistics in a safe and timely manner this position will transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants, construction sites, retail/office sites or distribution centres. This includes factory hand work, preparation of good to dispatch from our Armidale facility. All Aspen employees must have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – internally and externally, written, phone and face to face. KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES Load and unload goods as required ensuring appropriate documentation is recorded and returned to the Logistics Co Ordinator Preparation/palletisation of goods to dispatch from our Armidale facility Use cordless tools to disassemble joinery then move to the loading dock. Read load list and palletise joinery in prioritised order. Organise and mark palletised joinery. Load trucks with joinery in a safe manner. Use hand and power tools to build pallets and crates to required sizes KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS Follow instructions to deliver product in full on time Show reliability and punctuality by being at work ready to start at your scheduled start time. Minimise incidents/injuries by adhering to Aspen WHS policies and procedures and reporting any immediately to line manager. QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES Ability to lift and load or unload heavy objects Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations Physical ability to undertake requirements of the role Supervisory skills for the purposes of mentoring and training less experienced employees Experience in fast paced production environments PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES Ability to work under pressure and follow process Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience. Ability to apply knowledge in a practical commercial manner. Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members Accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner. #J-18808-Ljbffr
