Direct message the job poster from IT Alliance Australia One of our federal government clients is seeking to engage a Lead Business Analyst Role: Lead Business Analyst Location of work: Canberra & Sydney Length of contract: 06 months with 12 months of extension Security clearance: Baseline security cleared Job Description: The Digital Products and Platforms Branch are looking for a lead BA to join the Go Global Toolkit (GGT) Team to deliver key projects. The Lead BA will work closely with key internal stakeholders to deliver projects in GGT Program of work. The role will also work closely with the Solution Architect, Product Manager, Delivery Manager, BA, developers and testers within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT) to ensure the solutions are designed and delivered on time, and to a high standard. Key duties and responsibilities: Working closely with the GGT team to ensure requirements are well understood, solutions tested, technical issues recorded and tracked, changes implemented, and business objectives met. Facilitating workshops and other collaboration or research activities with internal and external stakeholders to meet outcomes, such as identifying pain points and designing solutions and opportunities for improvement. Producing artefacts as required to assist teams to understand the problem and design an appropriate solution. This may include user stories, journey maps, blueprints, personas, functional requirement specifications. Provide input into a solution design that considers enterprise architecture, security, information and data management to resolve complex issues for both near term business objectives and predicted future needs. Demonstrated experience (at least 5 years) in business analysis at a senior level. Highly developed stakeholder management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and to listen and respond to others appropriately. Experience producing analysis and project artefacts such as process maps, functional and nonfunctional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and business cases. Experience in Miro and Microsoft Azure DevOps or other similar tools.
