Head of Acting at JMC Academy & Managing Director at Darlo Drama Role Description We are looking for a CASUAL or CONTRACTOR Tutor / Instructor to join our team at Darlo Drama. The tutor / instructor will deliver Darlo Drama’s Adult Beginners Acting Courses in our various venues across Greater Sydney. We are currently seeking teachers able to work in the following areas of Sydney: Penrith and Western Sydney, the Hills District, Sutherland Shire and Campbelltown area. Responsibilities / Qualifications The successful applicant must have: Training and experience in acting Excellent communication skills Prior teaching experience Demonstrated ability to work in a team Transport and willingness to work in a variety of locations in Greater Sydney The ideal candidate may also have: Previous experience teaching in adult education Experience in conducting workshops and training for adults Directing experience for stage Supervisory or management experience in any sector A qualification in adult education (such as a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment) Pay rates will be based upon the Educational Services (Post‑secondary) Award (MA ) in the classification of Tutor / Instructor. Applicants who currently undertake business activities of teaching services through an ABN will be considered for this position as an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.
