About The Role: As a Technical Simulation Officer – Horticulture you’ll play a vital role in supporting hands‑on horticulture training. Working closely with educators and students, you’ll help prepare practical learning activities, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and engaging environment across indoor and outdoor settings. This part‑time position (0.5 FTE) 3 days per week offers a unique blend of technical work, student interaction and outdoor activity—perfect for someone passionate about horticulture and education. Key Responsibilities Support delivery of practical horticulture training by preparing classroom activities and maintaining specialist equipment. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards across horticulture, landscaping and conservation settings. Manage stock ordering, invoicing and accurate record‑keeping of technical support activities. Collaborate with teaching staff and students to provide technical assistance and maintain a safe, engaging learning environment. About You Practical experience in horticulture, landscaping, parks and gardens or agriculture. A passion for working outdoors and contributing to hands‑on learning experiences. Relevant licences and qualifications (desirable). Strong problem‑solving skills and technical knowledge.
