Client Services – Casual Queensland Veterinary Specialist (QVS) is Australia’s longest established, privately owned 24/7 specialist group. We treat every pet as a cherished member of the family, ensuring they receive the highest standard of care. We have three Specialist and Emergency hospitals currently Stafford, North Lakes with our newest hospital in the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The Role We are looking for passionate Client Services Officers to be the welcoming face of our busy, multidisciplinary veterinary hospital. Join us on a Casual basis at our beautiful Sunshine Coast hospital As part of our 24/7 team, you will enjoy a flexible rotating roster with shifts between 6:00 am and 11:00, perfect for those who love variety and want to make a real impact every day. Key Responsibilities Welcoming clients and managing waiting room workflow Handling a high-volume email inbox Coordinating and booking appointments over the phone and in person Acting as a liaison between clients and the clinical team Processing client payments Requesting medical records, test results, and documents from third parties Managing pet medical insurance claimsBeing a point of escalation for account queries, referring vet queries, and complaints management Providing hands‑on support to the team, leading by example, and participating in day‑to‑day tasks as required What we Offer Competitive pay packages designed to reward your skills and experience A vibrant and supportive team culture working alongside passionate specialists and clinicians who love what they do Team perks, including staff discounts on pet care, fun team events, and a workplace that celebrates success Requirements A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service across the business Proven ability to take initiative and prioritise tasks effectively Exceptional attention to detail with clear and professional communication, both written and verbal At least 2 years of experience in a fast‑paced reception role Highly Desirable Previous experience in a veterinary or medical reception position Experience using a practice management system, ideally EzyVet How to Get in Touch?
