Senior Allied Health Practitioner (headspace/Clinical Nurse) – Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service About the Role As the Senior Allied Health Practitioner you will deliver high‑level professional clinical mental health services as part of a multidisciplinary team to optimise psycho‑social outcomes for children and young people with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders, and support families and carers. The Clinical Nurse (CN) component requires advanced clinical, problem‑solving, planning and coordination skills in the clinical management of patients with complex care needs, ensuring all quality standards are met. About the Team Under the Better Care Together initiative and the Queensland Government’s commitment to dedicated MHAOD clinicians, the team provides consultation liaison and clinical in‑reach services to all headspace centres across Queensland. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning and clinical interventions for children, young people and families. Coordinate care across services, ensuring continuity and quality of care for patients with complex needs. Support the Children’s Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and uphold the values of Queensland Public Service and CHQ. Adhere to Schedule 2, Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health) Award – State 2015 and CHQ commitments through achievement of organisational goals and domains of practice.
