We’re now looking for a Critical Pursuits Director – APAC to join our Global Buildings & Places team, based from any of our Australia offices, with remote working options also available. Job Description In line with our growth strategy, the Buildings + Places (B+P) Global Business Line is seeking a B+P Critical Pursuits Director – APAC to support capturing major new business opportunities across the region. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, client account managers and technical teams to develop winning strategies, coach high‑performing teams and deliver exceptional client outcomes. How You’ll Make a Difference Lead capture strategy across key opportunities, including win strategy development, proposal leadership and client positioning. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and partners, deepening AECOM’s presence in the market. Champion excellence in technical leadership, commercial insight, innovation, ESG integration and digital approaches. Mentor and develop capture and pursuit teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, inclusion and high performance. Contribute to strategic business planning, market growth initiatives and enterprise‑wide collaboration across regions. Model AECOM’s values and behaviours, creating an environment defined by integrity, safety, quality, innovation and shared success. Qualifications Relevant technical qualifications with 12+ years’ experience and proven leadership in capture management, business development or technical delivery on major programmes. Strong client engagement capabilities, including discovery, value proposition development and strategic relationship building. Demonstrated track record of sales production, specifically the winning of major enterprise‑level pursuits. Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Experience working with pursuit metrics, proposal development and commercial, legal and risk considerations.
