Point Cook office
on a
full-time, on-going basis . As a
Construction Supervisor , your primary focus is to manage a portfolio of home builds from site start through to the final inspection and maintenance stage across the Western Melbourne region. Reporting to the Regional Building Manager, some key accountabilities of this role include:Coordinate and manage trades, establish a reliable trade baseBuild strong and ongoing working relationships with clients, trades and key stakeholdersEnsure correct building practices and procedures are adhered to at all timesEnsure quality homes are built within set time frames and budgeted guidelinesEnforce and adhere to OH&S regulationsDay to day management of trades on site, suppliers, completion of paperwork and other admin tasksWeekly KPI reportingWHO YOU AREIdeally, we're looking for someone who has:Experience supervising residential home builds, residential construction experience and/or a strong trade background (but more importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a cohesive team)A thorough understanding of Australian building regulations, WHSE regulations and Quality Assurance (QA) systems (mandatory)Have completed the General Construction Induction Course/White Card (mandatory)Hold a valid driver's licence (mandatory)Solid project management skills, including experience in managing and developing a trade networkAble to effectively communicate with a diverse customer group, including what it means to deliver excellent customer serviceAnd just as importantly, an eagerness to learn and be a part of a supportive team.WHY JOIN US?Aside from a fantastic opportunity to join one of Australia's ASX listed leading residential builders, Simonds can offer you:Great benefits across a wide range of products and services including a generous discount on our award-winning homes as well as all the great things that go in them.Access to our free employee well-being program, including counselling, nutritional, financial, and legal support for both you and your immediate family.Access to Simonds Reward Days - receive an extra day of leave per year.Onsite café at Head Office with free coffee and hot drinks – coffee karma charity initiatives.Opportunities for professional and personal growth through our Learning and Development programs on our inhouse LMS.Generous rewards and recognition including gifts for long service.A commensurate remuneration package will be negotiated with the right candidate.If this sounds like your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you as soon as possiblePlease note: You must have unlimited Australian work rights to be considered for this role.Recruitment agencies, thanks for thinking of us but we've got this one covered.
