What is our Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Triage role? This role provides primary response to referrals made to Youth Axis and Youth Mental Health, North Metropolitan Health Service. Provides consultation and support to referrers, clients and members of the community who contact the service. Identifies the nature and appropriateness of referrals and sets priorities for management. Collates information for presentation at intake meetings and provides assessment and support for young people and their families/carers experiencing mental health problems. Conducts emergency assessments as required. Works within the Youth Mental Health Integrated Triage Service.
