Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Triage Do you want to be a part of a team that promotes and improves the health of its people and community? This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full‑Time appointments. Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur. Appointments may be made from this pool until 28 June 2026. We currently have a 1 FTE (Full Time Equivalent) position available working 76 hours per fortnight. What is our Clinical Nurse Specialist - Mental Health Triage role? This role provides primary response to referrals made to Youth Axis and Youth Mental Health, North Metropolitan Health Service. Provides consultation and support to referrers, clients and members of the community who contact the service. Identifies the nature and appropriateness of referrals and sets priorities for management. Collates information for presentation at intake meetings and provides assessment and support for young people and their families/carers experiencing mental health problems. Conducts emergency assessments as required. Works within the Youth Mental Health Integrated Triage Service.
