Balgownie Estate Seeking a Casual Event Administrator

Balgownie Estate is an award-winning property in the Yarra Valley , offering an array of event spaces and experiences. From private functions and multiday conferences to weddings and gala dinners, our property can cater for a variety of client needs. We are seeking a detail‑driven Casual Event Administrator to support our busy Sales & Events team with day‑to‑day administration and coordination tasks. This role suits someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, enjoys supporting multiple stakeholders and is looking to grow within the events or hospitality space. The Role Supporting the Sales & Events team with phone enquiries, updating event documentation and preparing various event signage and collateral Maintaining accurate event details across our event software, Mews, Event Temple and internal software Working with all of our in‑house teams to deliver exceptional customer service General administrative tasks including filing, data entry and calendar management Supporting site inspections and occasional on‑the‑day assistance when required Providing ad‑hoc support during peak periods, launches or special event days The Benefits Internal development opportunities to grow within the business Up to 50% off wine, food, accommodation and spa treatments Excellent workplace wellbeing and recognition program Newly refurbished workspaces surrounded by beautiful vineyard views About You Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach Knowledge and experience with Opera and MS Office are advantageous Ability to work under pressure, problem‑solve and adapt in a fast‑paced environment Full knowledge of conference layouts, AV requirements and event setups preferable Minimum 2 years’ experience in Event Coordination or a qualification in Marketing, Events, or Communications Reliable transport to Yarra Glen Enthusiastic, detail‑oriented and passionate about creating memorable experiences About Us At Balgownie Estate, our guests enjoy ultimate luxury with our award‑winning facilities, including 70 accommodation suites, our stylish restaurant, 1309 at Balgownie, Cellar Door and Endota spa.
