About the Role Lucas Drilling is looking for an experienced candidate to join our maintenance division. Our ideal candidate would be hard‑working, highly motivated and hold the relevant competencies. As a Lucas Rig Mechanic, you will be part of a team that is responsible for the day‑to‑day repairs and maintenance of the drill rigs and support equipment as well as be in charge of troubleshooting/working through mechanical breakdowns as they occur. You will have the opportunity to gain mechanical experience on WEI, AustEx, Prime, American Auger, Sandvik, Schramm, and UDR rigs among other auxiliary equipment including large triplex mud pumps, earthmoving equipment, trucks and trailers and much more.
