About the Role Reporting to the CEO the Fundraising & Campaigns Director leads One Girl’s strategic fundraising and campaign direction through developing and implementing strategy. Annual salary of $100,000 to $130,000 inclusive of superannuation plus the option for salary packaging. The Director is responsible for planning management resourcing coordination and review of all fundraising and campaigns strategies. The role enhances fundraising outcomes, drives sustainable growth, ensures donor stewardship and manages annual budgets. It also leads & nurtures the One Girl brand & voice. The Director provides leadership to inspire and motivate One Girls fundraising team and supports the cultivation of a friendly and accountable atmosphere to deliver successful campaigns and initiatives. This role is critical to the success of One Girls mission to harness the power of education to drive change for girls and their communities. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee the development and implementation of the fundraising growth strategy and overall fundraising activities in line with One Girl values. Determine, develop & deliver the yearly Fundraising Budget. Lead and manage the delivery of the fundraising strategy and diversify revenue through a range of giving streams including appeals, campaigns, major donors, individual and regular giving. Identify, nurture and manage meaningful long‑term partnerships with high‑value major donors and foundations. Develop and implement overall Communications strategy at One Girl ensuring alignment with the Fundraising Strategy. Lead, uphold & nurture the One Girl brand and voice. Lead & manage the fundraising team (and fundraising volunteers when appropriate) to achieve fundraising goals and strategy. Provide direction, guidance and staff development to the Fundraising team ensuring clear planning and reporting. Help foster a culture of accountability, staff empowerment & a problem‑solving approach. Work with the Sierra Leone team to ensure program activities are shared, understood and communicated to external stakeholders. Have overall responsibility for fundraising operations including the CRM, payment gateways, website and social media platforms. You’re ready to roll up your sleeves and change the world one girl at a time. We’re Looking for Someone With A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (Fundraising, Marketing etc.). In the absence of a degree extensive professional experience and proven results in the not‑for‑profit sector. Minimum 5 years demonstrated experience leading the development and implementation of successful fundraising strategies and achieving key performance targets. A proven track record developing & meeting fundraising budgets. Demonstrated success leading multi‑skilled teams with significant income goals and delivering outstanding digital fundraising. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to negotiate, be persuasive, develop trust and maintain flourishing working relationships. Experience building and maintaining successful donor relationships and partnerships (e.g. foundations, philanthropies, corporate businesses and major donors). Experience using Fundraising CRMs and able to analyse complex data and supporter insights to meet income generation targets and influence decision‑making.
