Here at Stellarossa, our mission is to offer the complete guest service experience at each of our locally owned and operated cafés. We strive to provide premium service, perfect coffee, and delicious meals made fresh in-house, using local produce. Stellarossa Coffee began in Brisbane in 2009, and since then, we’ve grown throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales, with plans for further expansion Each café is locally owned and operated, meaning our franchise owners are emotionally invested in making the business work. At our cafes and drive thru cafes, you will find unique menus featuring Stellarossa core dishes and local favourites. About the Role As an Experienced Barista at Stellarossa Parkside Cafe, you will be busy pumping out coffees and preparing cold drinks for dine-in and takeaway, while interacting with guests, taking their orders, and supporting your fellow team members. This is a casual position with lots of hours on offer, including weekend work, which is a must. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Train and mentor junior baristas. Interact with guests, taking their orders, answering their questions, and providing exceptional service all-round. Assist with opening and closing duties. Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere. Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Deliver food and beverages to guests at their tables or to guests for them to take home. Requirements Minimum of 1 year of experience as a barista and Front of House team member. Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment or kitchen operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Availability to work weekends is essential. A charismatic, engaging, bright, and bubbly personality. High energy and productivity levels. Openness to learning and following systems.
