Job Summary Join our airport‑based team as a Senior Systems Engineer and showcase your advanced knowledge and experience of electrical engineering, automation and control systems engineering. Reporting to the Team Lead, you will be accountable for successfully delivering complex engineering solutions for projects within requirements, schedule and budget in your area of expertise. You will provide mentoring and leadership to Graduate/Junior Engineers, lead a technical team and manage their delivery performance, and liaise directly with clients to develop and refine scopes of work. Location and Shift Based at Sydney Airport (Mascot); regular night shifts are required. Roles Airport Management Systems team: strong experience of Siemens TIA Portal, Ignition and MODBUS TCP/RTU. Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) team: strong experience of Siemens S7 TIA Portal and conveyor systems within an airport, manufacturing or warehousing/logistics environment. Skills & Experience Appropriate Electrical Engineering qualification with at least 5 years of verifiable experience in the automation industry. Proven strong knowledge of Siemens software. Systems experience in airport, manufacturing or warehousing/logistics sectors that utilise conveyor systems and controls. Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders and understand requirements. Current unrestricted Australian Work Rights. Benefits Career development with ongoing learning and support.
