Personal Care and Activities Assistant Juniper is actively recruiting a Personal Care and Activities Assistant to join their Ella Williams team in Noranda on a permanent part time basis About the role At Juniper, we believe aged care is more than daily support, it’s about helping people live with dignity, purpose, and joy. We are seeking a Personal Care and Activities Assistant to provide compassionate, person-centered care for our residents and community clients. This role combines personal care with meaningful activity support, helping customers with their daily living needs, social engagement, and overall wellbeing. It’s perfect for someone with empathy, patience, and creativity who enjoys making a positive difference in people’s lives every day. Week 1 and 2: Monday 9:00-17:00 Key Responsibilities Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meal assistance Support residents to participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities Facilitate engaging group and one-on-one activities tailored to customer interests and abilities Assist with transport and mobility to and from activities (if required) Monitor and report any changes in health, wellbeing, or behaviour to clinical staff Maintain accurate documentation and care/activity records Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all interactions Work collaboratively with the care team, families, and allied health professionals Key Requirements Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing, Home & Community) or equivalent qualification Current First Aid & CPR certificate Manual handling and infection control training Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including with people living with dementia Experience providing personal care in aged care, disability, or community settings Ability to plan, deliver, and adapt activities to support physical, social, and emotional wellbeing Compassion, patience, and cultural sensitivity What's on offer Attractive remuneration $34.11-$35.19 per hour, plus 12% superannuation Salary packaging up to $18,550 per annum tax free Non-profit values driven Western Australian aged care provider All employees have access to Juniperks, an online platform that unlocks exclusive retail discounts, employee perks, wellness initiatives and peer acknowledgement Health Insurance discounts How to Apply Don’t miss this opportunity to join a supportive team in a rewarding role Apply online today with your current CV.
