Cello Teacher – Casual Camberwell, VIC | Secondary Music Teacher – Casual/Relief Position (Term 1, 2026) Applications close 4:00 pm on Friday 21 November 2025 Siena College is seeking to appoint a Cello Teacher to teach private and small group lessons and to direct a string ensemble. The role commences in Term 1, 2026, with an average of 6 hours per week, depending on enrolment and availability. Responsibilities Teach junior and intermediate cello students through to VCE Music Direct a string ensemble and plan appropriate programs of repertoire Develop students’ musical understanding through the study of repertoire Inspire students’ long‑term participation in our instrumental and ensemble programs Prepare students for solo and small group performance opportunities Assist with basic instrument maintenance and record‑keeping Assist with various concerts and events throughout the year Qualifications & Requirements VIT Teacher Registration or a Working with Children Check and National Police check are required before commencing the position The successful candidate must have the relevant rights to work in Australia Application Please submit a covering letter supported by the College Application Form, curriculum vitae, qualifications and the names of three referees.
