Recruitment Consultant - Infrastructure at Emanate Technology Senior Infrastructure Engineer Full Time | Dandenong South | On-site/Hybrid Are you a seasoned infrastructure specialist ready to take ownership of modern cloud platforms and drive technical uplift across a complex hybrid environment? This role is for an experienced engineer who thrives in Azure, enjoys solving deep technical problems, and wants to play a key part in modernising and scaling enterprise infrastructure. What you’ll be doing Designing, implementing and optimising Azure services across IaaS, PaaS, networking, storage, backup and governance. Administering and enhancing Microsoft 365, Intune and Entra ID, with a focus on identity, compliance and modern endpoint management. Supporting and improving hybrid environments, including servers, virtualisation, DR, storage and legacy systems. Managing and uplifting network infrastructure across WAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, firewalls, VPN and routing. Building automation and Infrastructure-as-Code using PowerShell, Bicep, Terraform or similar. Implementing monitoring, alerting and logging to drive reliability, performance and capacity improvements. Acting as a senior escalation point for complex incidents, and contributing to design, standards and documentation. Collaborating with security, project and application teams while guiding and mentoring junior technical staff. What you bring 7+ years in infrastructure engineering with deep hands‑on expertise in Azure and Microsoft 365. Strong knowledge of Azure governance, architecture, security, identity and cost management. Solid understanding of networking across on‑prem and cloud environments. Proficiency in PowerShell and IaC tooling. Experience with virtualisation, storage and DR solutions. Familiarity with security frameworks, SOC/MSSP engagement and cloud security concepts. Excellent communication, documentation and stakeholder engagement skills. A proactive, improvement‑focused mindset with the ability to work across multiple priorities. Relevant Microsoft certifications are highly regarded. Why this role? Lead technical uplift in a growing enterprise environment.
