Position Title: Design Coordinator (Junior Position - Full Time) Department: Project Reports To: Design Manager To apply, please send CV to ******@lightningbroadband.com.au Position Purpose The Design Coordinator is responsible for the design and planning of Fibre Networks for Broadacre, Integrated Communications Networks (ICN), and Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) developments. This role contributes to the development and enhancement of design guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry standards and delivering cost-effective, flexible network solutions. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate design documentation in line with established standards for pit and pipe, as well as fibre network designs Adhere to quality control processes and ensure all design deliverables meet the defined process standards Review and improve design standards to maximize network flexibility and cost efficiency Design fibre networks to service MDU developments, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements Main Tasks Utilize AutoCAD to design pit and pipe networks Develop detailed fibre network designs and splicing plans using AutoCAD and specialized tools like DAD Create and manage Bill of Materials (BoMs) for Broadacre and MDU fibre network designs Provide design status updates and reporting to relevant stakeholders Maintain accurate records of time and resources allocated to deliverables Ensure compliance with document control procedures Collaborate with Project Managers and contractors to optimize design outcomes Address customer data issues within DAD and Telco platforms, ensuring alignment with design standards Provides support to other team members as mutually agreed and as required General Accountabilities Customer Satisfaction: Achieving high customer satisfaction levels as measured by positive feedback and meeting and exceeding agreed service levels Productivity: Performing required duties and responsibilities with high efficiency and effectiveness Quality: Demonstrates commitment to continuous quality improvement Assists in the collection of information and data for quality improvement All work produced and delivered to customers demonstrates quality Learning & Development: Identifying and owning training plan for self and/or colleagues.
