Expression of Interest – Become a Learn to Swim Instructor Join the Campbelltown City Council Leisure team to become a registered Learn to Swim instructor. This is a part‑time, casual opportunity based in Campbelltown, New South Wales. About the Role Certified casual rate of $43.76 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading) on completion of qualification. Training and formal qualification provided; approximately 20 hours of practical training will be completed at our leisure centres in early 2026. Flexible hours with weekend penalty rates (+25% Saturdays, +50% Sundays). Opportunity to work with the community, support local families and make a positive impact. Benefits Paid on‑the‑job training at our leisure centres. Obtain industry‑recognised swimming teacher qualification and resuscitation certifications. Casual employment at a trainee rate of $36.40 per hour (inclusive of 25% loading) before qualification, then certified rate of $43.76 per hour. Weekend penalty rates apply. 12% superannuation contribution. Flexible shift options (mornings, afternoons, weekends). Weekly pay. Qualifications & Criteria Be able to complete full swimming instructor qualification and on‑the‑job training. Be able to complete approximately 20 hours of practical training or until deemed competent. Successfully complete all training assessments. Possess effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills. Hold a valid Working with Children Check. Minimum age 16 years.
