We are a team of hardworking individuals who enjoy working together each day and being successful in what we do The Work Reporting to the Technical Manager – Engineered Wood Products , this role plays an important part in designing and supporting high‑quality floor and roof systems for our customers. You’ll prepare estimates, material lists and bills of quantities, develop detailed design layouts, and provide practical engineering support on key EWP projects that demand accuracy, quality, and strong collaboration with major clients. Tasks and responsibilities include: Interpreting and working from building plans Preparing accurate customer estimates Detailing construction layouts for floor and roof systems Creating practical, customer‑focused designs Building strong relationships and collaborating with customers to resolve queries and deliver an exceptional experience Working closely with our Production Crew to address design and production queries Providing technical and engineering support to customers and teammates on EWP‑related enquiries This role is perfectly suited to an experienced Timber Truss and Frame Detailer or Estimator – who is looking to evolve their skillset, specialise in EWP and belong to a great team Additional Selection Criteria includes: Good communication skills – communicating clearly, openly and honestly will be key to your success here. Developing planning and organisational skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain high levels of concentration throughout the working day. Confident technology skills and previous experience using estimating and/or design software. Good problems solving skills with sound numeracy and literacy abilities.
