As our company continues to expand and grow our portfolio, we are seeking a driven Structural Engineer to join our team. This role offers the chance to work on a wide variety of projects in the public and private sector with opportunity for client facing roles for the development and delivery of key projects. You’ll experience career development within a robust learning culture, fostering professional and technical growth. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our Gold Coast office. RESPONSIBILITIES Undertake detailed analysis of various structural designs including multi storey residential, industrial, community, commercial building structures and infrastructure. Work collaboratively within project teams, including Architects, Services Engineers, Contractors and other key stakeholders. Provide construction phase services. Perform investigative inspections and report writing. Utilise various software packages for structural analysis. Review and interpret project inputs, such as architectural and services documentation, surveys, and other client inputs. Meet project timeframes and budgets. Be motivated in self-learning activities. Take on some project and financial management responsibilities for key projects. POSITION REQUIREMENTS Bachelor (or Master) of Engineering degree in Civil/Structural with advanced knowledge in structural engineering Strong team player with client and project lead abilities Ability to meet deadlines and work within budgets Sound knowledge of relevant legal requirements, current codes of practice and industry best practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated progress towards Chartered Status is advantageous Experience in project delivery within Australia is advantageous.
