Contact: Medical Workforce – About the Opportunity Full time - 6 or 12 months fixed term contract commencing February 2026 Based at Mercy Hospital for Women in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department Provide care for inpatients, outpatients and the Emergency Department within the rules pertaining to Registrars/Residents Responsible for completion of discharge summaries and coding Positions suitable for PGY3 or above; accredited training for DRANZCOG or CWH Employment terms as per Australian Medical Association (Victoria) Hospital Medical Officer Certified Agreement About you Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Highly developed and up to date clinical and theoretical knowledge Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people at all levels and work collaboratively with a diverse team What you'll bring Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve. A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management. The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
