Job Description BESIX Watpac are looking for aConstruction Planner to join our NSW Construction team supporting our project delivery teams. Duties will include; Lead the management and preparation of construction planning and programming including : Assist Project Managers and site teams in sequencing works, resource allocation, and progress monitoring. Preparation of contract / target / tender programs. Program monitoring and updating Program resource analysis. Preparation of program status reports. Management of program delay analysis. Qualifications The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience : Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g., Asta, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar). Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and models. Understanding of the commercial requirements associated with the tender process. Proven ability to manage several complex tasks simultaneously to tight deadlines. Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills. Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business with a particularly strong internal customer focus. Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision‑making skills. Ability to deliver accurate programs in fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Proven experience in construction planning, project management, or scheduling Familiarity with budgeting and cost control practices in construction projects. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to for see potential project delays or issues and address them proactively. Strong organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the construction industry.
