Responsibilities BESIX Watpac are looking for a Construction Planner to join our NSW Construction team supporting our project delivery teams. Lead the management and preparation of construction planning and programming Assist Project Managers and site teams in sequencing works, resource allocation and progress monitoring. Preparation of contract, target and tender programs. Program monitoring and updating. Program resource analysis. Preparation of program status reports. Management of program delay analysis. Qualifications The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience: Proficiency in construction scheduling software (e.g. Asta, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar). Strong understanding of construction processes sequencing and the ability to interpret technical drawings and models. Understanding of the commercial requirements associated with the tender process. Proven ability to manage several complex tasks simultaneously to tight deadlines. Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills. Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships at all levels of the business with a particularly strong internal customer focus. Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision‑making skills. Ability to deliver accurate programs in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. Proven experience in construction planning, project management or scheduling. Familiarity with budgeting and cost control practices in construction projects. Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to foresee potential project delays or issues and address them proactively. Strong organisational and time‑management skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations within the construction industry.
