Pharmacist and Pharmacy Assistant/Technician

TerryWhite Chemmart Mowbray is a busy community pharmacy, located less than 10 minutes from Launceston and operates seven days a week. We have a strong focus on customer service and actively promote the provision of quality professional services. We are a modern pharmacy complete with both a dispensing machine and DAA packing robot. We are seeking a pharmacist and pharmacy assistant to join our team; who are passionate about improving the health outcomes of our customers. You will be working with a supportive team of experienced pharmacists including our pharmacist owners, dispensary technicians and pharmacy assistants. Full time and part time applicants will be considered. Pharmacists with all levels of experience including newly registered are encouraged to apply. Experience is an advantage for the assistant role but not essential as training can be provided. Our pharmacy has a lot to offer and this role will provide the successful applicants an exciting and diverse career in community pharmacy. Pharmacist tasks and responsibilities Provide advice to our customers for prescription and OTC medication along with general health related counselling Dispense and check prescription medication using FRED Provision of professional services such as dose administration aids, vaccinations, Medschecks, Home Medication Reviews and leave certificates Delivery of medication and pharmacy services for nursing home residents Excellent communication and customer service Pharmacy Assistant tasks and responsibilities Provision of excellent customer service Advise on S2 S3 products and related health conditions Assisting in provision of professional services such as blood pressure monitoring, National Diabetes Services Scheme and dose administration aids Assist in management of pharmacy stock Preparation and provision of prescriptions Successful candidates should have Current Pharmacist registration with AHPRA (pharmacist position) Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work well as part of a team Positive attitude and strong work ethic Vaccination and HMR accreditation will be an advantage but not a requirement (pharmacist position) If you are passionate about improving health outcomes and are excited to work as part of a professional and dynamic team, we would love to hear from you.
