The team ensures that all trades are confirmed, settled, and recorded correctly, with minimal risk and maximum efficiency for Macquarie and its investors. What role will you play? As the Derivatives Operations Manager, you will oversee the operational processes related to derivatives trading, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory and internal standards. This role will manage a team responsible for trade confirmation, trade settlement, reconciliation, collateral management and regulatory reporting for various derivative instruments, including futures, options, swaps, and other complex financial instruments. You will work closely with internal stakeholders—including portfolio managers, traders, risk management, and technology teams—to optimise workflows and minimise operational risk. Additionally, you will liaise with external partners such as clients, custodians, brokers, and fund administrators to facilitate seamless transaction processing and relationship management.
