This is a great opportunity for undergraduate medical students to get firsthand experience and a look into the behind-the-scenes of our Perioperative suites. You will work within a dedicated team to maintain the highest standards of support necessary to facilitate the care and movement of patients within the perioperative services in a reliable, timely and effective manner. What You’ll Be Doing Preparing and setting up operating theatre equipment and areas before and after procedures Cleaning and sanitising floors, equipment, and furniture to maintain strict infection control standards Safely removing and disposing of soiled linen, waste, and other materials Restocking essential supplies and equipment to ensure theatres are ready for use Assisting with the transport equipment and specimens Assisting with the transport of patients along with transfers, positioning, prepping and/ or restraining of patients Supporting the team in maintaining a safe, organised, and hygienic environment throughout the operating suite What MLHD Offer \Relocation Assistance and Accommodation Support considerations - Assistance for interstate applicants to help you transition smoothly into our community Make a Meaningful Impact – Play a vital role in delivering essential health services to our diverse and vibrant regional communities.
