The Role We are looking for a full-time Technology Engineer to join our Brisbane Technology Team working in a broadcast technology environment at our Teneriffe Nova 106.9 Studios. This is a full-time onsite role requiring on-call availability. With a passion for Digital Technologies and the way all the pieces fit together, your primary role is to maximise uptime of NOVA’s broadcast technologies. You will primarily maintain broadcast and office-based hardware and software within the Teneriffe location. Reporting to the Brisbane Technology Manager, you’ll also get the opportunity to participate in projects and upgrade key systems. Responsibilities Maintaining and supporting NOVA Entertainment’s audio, video and broadcast systems to enable the creation and distribution of world-class content. Collaborating with NOVA Technology subject matter experts to implement modifications and improvements to ensure 24/7 operation. Working with the Technology Manager to prioritise, plan and execute a mix of project and technology support work. Ensuring accuracy of NOVA’s technology documentation and user-facing knowledge base. Contributing to Continuous Improvement of technology processes. Utilising NOVA’s planning, documentation, and communication stack (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams). About You Radio doesn’t stop, so you will be an energetic individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment and loves a challenge Previous radio experience would be ideal, but it is not essential. We’d love to meet you if you have a previous support experience across broadcast, audio or video production, film and television, electronics, or IT related to broadcast or media systems. You’ll need to be: Excellent at communicating, both verbally and in writing Talented at solving problems and thinking outside the box Great at working independently and with direction Works well as part of a team Able to prioritise tasks with conflicting priorities and manage your time Calm under pressure Why you will love working at Nova This is a full-time, on-site position located in our Teneriffe studios.
