Miepol Pty Ltd is a prominent service provider in the Civil/Construction Industry. Experienced in Civil Construction Infrastructure, Civil Design, Asset Management, Traffic Management and Labour Hire Services. About the role We are looking for a CIVIL Project Engineer & Senior Project Engineer at our depot in West Footscray, Vic due to growth in our operations. The ideal candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate they can and have experience in: managing and delivering civil project requirements such as: Managing internal construction supervisors, teams and resources, and subcontractors to ensure quality and profitable delivery against the construction works Responsibility for preparing projects from completed design Carrying out project management, develop the works and program delivery including project scopes, accurate cost control, schedule development, resource management Ensuring projects are delivered to design and client standards on-time and under budget Updating and monitoring project plans and schedules Manage and be responsible for the quality checks and monitoring (ie Quality Management including Inspection & Test Plans) Taking responsibility for the implementation of HSEQ processes on project/works sites Conducting regular audits and inspections of the projects, work sites, and any contractors All facets of project resourcing, including labour and plant Manage materials procurement and control All of the above and oversee a small team of Project Engineers Develop project cost estimate, monitor and control costs About You Civil Engineering Qualification or equivalent Current C (Car) Licence Construction Site Safety Induction Card (White Card) All candidates: Must have demonstrate the experience stated Must have the right to work in Australia Must be prepared to undertake pre-employment medical examination and drug/alcohol test as part of the recruitment process Note: Due to the large volumes of applicants received, only suitable candidates will be contacted.
