Senior Technical Officer – Receipt Compliance Play a key role in maintaining the safety and integrity of Qantas' aviation supply chain. Responsibilities Ensure the integrity and compliance of aviation parts entering inventory—processing components for external repair, managing exchange and used parts, loans, scrap, and material sales. Raise and receipting purchase orders; resolve technical queries and maintain strict regulatory compliance. Identify Suspect Unapproved Parts (SUP) before they enter the supply chain. Support the development of Technical Officers, assist with manpower allocation, and manage workflow across the Receipt Compliance team. What You’ll Bring A Trade Certificate (e.g., Aircraft Maintenance Engineer) and eligibility to hold a Production Examiner authority. Minimum 4 years of engineering experience. Strong planning and prioritisation skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Well-developed interpersonal and coaching abilities. Analytical thinking, sound judgement under pressure. Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and adapt to change. Proficiency in systems including MXI, SUPPLY, Intelx, ERes, AV‑Data, ADOC Navigator, DocuNet, QEPM, Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with OEM service literature, ADs, and CASA regulations related to airworthiness. Commitment to safety and compliance with Qantas Group policies. Why Qantas?
