Overview STATUS: Part Time Heartscope, a division of Scope Healthcare Ltd, is a long established Cardiology testing provider with clinics scattered across Melbourne. Due to upcoming expansion and staff development, we have opportunities for part-time employment across our South-East clinics as receptionist/technician, looking to build a career in the Medical Industry. Experience is not essential, although highly favourable. Attitude is key: when jobs need to be done you get them done, you enjoy being busy, you are well presented, have attention to detail and are a people person. A strong willingness to learn, the ability to organise yourself and the capacity to multi-task are important qualities for this role. Remuneration will be based on experience. Responsibilities You will work within a team and regularly at an agreed primary site (our Dandenong clinic), with rostered duties at other sites in the region to cover leave or busy sessions. Work a 47-hour fortnight with rostered hours Monday to Friday, 7.5–8-hour shifts between 8:30am and 5:30pm. Meet and greet patients, manage appointments, billing and payments, and attend to patient needs while ensuring a welcoming environment. Handle phone calls, booking and confirming appointments. Ensure all required documentation is entered into the clinical software. Perform all administration tasks required to ensure the smooth running of the clinic. Qualifications and Skills Full working rights & permanent resident status in Australia is essential Medical reception or technician experience is advantageous but not essential Knowledge of medical software packages; HealthTrack is highly desirable A current driver's license and access to a car Proficient computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook Excellent oral and written communication and keyboard skills Ability to work in a high-pressure environment Professional, warm and friendly disposition High standard of work ethic – self-motivated, proactive, and pride in your work Full training will be provided for successful applicants. Additional Information Work close to home with no after-hours shifts required. Potential to learn and develop skills and become an integral part of the Scope Healthcare team.
