About the role Lead and coordinate a child and adolescent mental health team, providing expert care, guidance, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care, positive patient outcomes, and efficient service delivery. Key duties of the role Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality child and adolescent mental health care. Provide expert clinical care including assessment, case management, and therapeutic interventions. Ensure compliance with ethics, policy, risk management, quality frameworks, and culturally safe practices. Develop staff capability through mentoring, education, reflective practice, and sharing evidence‑based knowledge. Skills and Experience RN3 Position Registered Nurse with at least 3 years post registration experience Highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Demonstrated competence in delivering comprehensive mental health nursing assessment and direct clinical services to young people and their families. Integration of information and evidence with personal experience to support decision making. AHP3 Position Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers, OR Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia within an endorsed for clinical practice; OR Appropriate degree of equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia Highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Proven leader with experience to coordinating teams, ensuring high standards, motivating staff, and promoting collaborative decision‑making.
