Laboratory Analyst – Food Chemistry Location: Dandenong South, Victoria, Australia Eurofins Scientific is an international life sciences company providing analytical testing services across multiple industries. The Laboratory Analyst within the Food Chemistry Laboratory is responsible for performing analytical methods, operating equipment/analytical instruments, and managing sample registration and disposal. Responsibilities Perform analytical methods in the Food Chemistry Laboratory. Operate analytical equipment and instruments (e.g., IC, GC, HPLC). Register samples and oversee sample disposal. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all analytical activities. Qualifications Diploma in Science/Laboratory Techniques (or equivalent Food Testing experience preferred). Tertiary qualifications not essential but will be valued. Experience in a Commercial Food laboratory is an advantage. Experience using different analytical instruments (IC/GC/HPLC) and sample preparation techniques. Knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word and MS Excel. Skills and Success Profile Excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to problem solve and work well under pressure. Ability to work as part of a team or independently when required. Highly motivated with a professional attitude. Ability to build rapport and strong working relationships. Display honesty and integrity at all times. Alignment with Eurofins Leadership Charter, Mission, Vision and Values.
