FinXL IT Professional Services is a leading IT solutions organisation providing a broad range of services to assist large Australian enterprises and Government departments in delivering IT projects. We are seeking a highly experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join the team for a major program of work. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Australian government security frameworks, with a mandatory security clearance required . Responsibilities Expertise in Australian Government security frameworks, including the PSPF, ISM, and Essential Eight. Relevant experience in a GRC-focused role, including security documentation development, risk management, and control assessments. Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and control gap analyses on Fortinet systems and processes, identifying threats and vulnerabilities to document security risks and recommend remediation strategies. Liaise with and advise internal teams, project teams, and the agency on cyber governance, risk management, and compliance matters. Technical & Operational Focus Develop and deliver security documentation and work instructions from scratch, as existing materials are not available for reuse. Fortinet Systems (Preferred): Experience with Fortinet systems to support incident response automation and related processes. Cyber Resilience (Beneficial) Familiarity with cyber security incident response and the ability to conduct an Incident Response exercise. Vulnerability scanning/assessment (Tenable), developing Backup and Recovery, and developing BCP/DRP documentation. SIEM integration, Fortinet Privileged Access Management (PAM) integration, Fortinet Wireless network assessment, and network operations. Communication Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Qualifications & Requirements Deep knowledge of Australian government security frameworks (PSPF, ISM, Essential Eight). Mandatory security clearance required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
